Ferran Torres Misses Training Again as PSG Move Nears Completion
Ferran Torres was missing from Barcelona training on Thursday morning for the second day running — and this time nobody at the club is worried. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana have extended the permission granted to the 26-year-old forward, who was due back at Hansi Flick’s sessions on Wednesday but is instead finalising his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain with the club’s approval.
Barça Universal reports that final talks between the two clubs are under way, with a total package worth around €55 million including add-ons expected to seal the deal. The Spain forward is said to have already agreed personal terms in Paris, where Luis Enrique has reportedly mapped out a role for him — a swift turnaround after PSG’s opening bid was knocked back earlier this window.
His absence came on a morning when Barça’s World Cup internationals stepped up their returns: Pau Cubarsí, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal rejoined the group at the start of Thursday’s session, while Pedri continued his individual programme in the gym. Marc Casadó, Héctor Fort, Jofre Torrents, Tommy Marqués, Guille Fernández and Toni Fernández are still training apart from the main group while their futures are resolved.
What’s next for Ferran Torres
Nothing is signed yet, and neither club has confirmed the deal, but every signal points one way: the forward is waiting on a green light rather than a recall. With the window open until 31 August, a resolution — and a formal farewell — is expected within days.
