Raphinha Forced Off Injured During Brazil Win Over Haiti

Barcelona forward Raphinha was forced off in the first half of Brazil’s 3-0 World Cup win over Haiti in Philadelphia, creating an immediate injury concern for Hansi Flick’s side.

The 29-year-old started for Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil in their Group C fixture but did not make it to half-time, with ESPN reporting that he was substituted before the interval because of an apparent injury. Brazil still took control of the match, with Matheus Cunha scoring twice and Vinicius Junior adding the third before the break.

For Barcelona, the timing is awkward. Raphinha has been central to Flick’s attacking plans and is also the subject of renewed transfer noise, but this update shifts the focus from market speculation to his fitness.

Barcelona wait on Raphinha injury clarity

The first question is whether this was a precaution or a more serious muscular setback. ESPN said Raphinha exited Brazil’s win over Haiti early, while Barcelona-focused reports noted concern around a possible hamstring issue.

Brazil’s next game and Barcelona’s pre-season planning now both carry the same uncertainty. If Raphinha needs tests over the weekend, Flick will want clarity quickly, especially with the winger expected to remain a major part of the squad next season.

Until Brazil or Barcelona provide a formal medical update, the only safe reading is that Raphinha’s early withdrawal is a warning sign rather than a confirmed lay-off. For Barcelona supporters, that is still enough to make this one of the World Cup moments to watch closely.
