Barcelona have confirmed that Juliano Belletti’s Barça Atlètic squad will begin their 2026/27 pre-season on 20 July, with medical tests and training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper opening the academy side’s summer programme.
The club confirmed the schedule in an official Barça Atlètic update, setting out Belletti’s second pre-season as coach of the development team.
Barça Atlètic will use the early block to prepare for the coming Segunda Federación campaign, with sessions alternating between morning and double work on the grass after the initial medical checks.
Belletti’s squad handed August friendly route
The key football detail is the shape of the friendly programme. Barcelona say Barça Atlètic will head to Vall d’en Bas from 2 to 9 August for a training camp at the Royalverd Training Center.
That trip will begin with a friendly away to UE Tona on 2 August, before Belletti’s side face Girona B during the camp. They are then scheduled to meet CE L’Hospitalet on 15 August in the L’Hospitalet City Trophy, followed by CE Europa at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on 19 August.
