At a glance

  • Tickets for El Clasico went on sale to Barcelona members on Monday.
  • They range between €399-2,250 in price.
  • The match against Real Madrid on May 10 could decide the La Liga title.

Tickets for the May 10 installment of El Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have already gone on sale to members.

Socios of the club received an email regarding the topic at around 11:30 AM local time in Catalonia. Yet those that followed through with a request to order entradas for the world’s biggest derby might have suffered a shock.

At present, it seems like the cheapest ticket in the Gol 2 section of the ground, which is the upper tier behind the net, will cost you €399. Elsewhere, though, some fans have mentioned being able to pay €319 for the lower tier, Gol 1.

This is a considerable increase on last year’s Clasico prices in Montjuic. For the 4-3 win where a Kylian Mbappe hat trick wasn’t enough for Madrid to win, members had to pay €219 in the same area of the ground – which still felt expensive.

As highlighted by SPORT, other prices include €499 in Corner 2, €599 in Corner 1, €749 in Side 2 and €799 in the Grandstand. To be a VIP at El Clasico, you can go for €1,750 in the grandstand while the Premium VIP rises to €2,250.

Fans aren’t happy with ‘abusive’ Barcelona Vs. Real Madrid prices

Search on social media and you won’t have to look too far to find fans unhappy with these prices. Granted the Clasico won’t be cut rate. But it is still a lot of money for a football match in a country where the monthly minimum wage hovers around €1,300.

Barca are clearly looking to cash in on the first Clasico in the new Spotify Camp Nou, which currently boasts an attendance of 62,000.

This will also be the first one at the ground in any format since the spring of 2023, where a Frenck Kessie late winner wrapped up the first La Liga title in four years for Xavi Hernandez’s outfit.

Fast forward to 2026, and Hansi Flick‘s men are closing in on three Spanish top flight crowns in four years. As mentioned previously, Barca’s nine-point lead at the La Liga summit means the title can be wrapped up by beating Madrid – if not before.
